Flow of Water


I took this picture while I was at the beach house. I got down into the pool and saw that the
fountains made a cool little ripple effect so I took a picture of it. I didn't have to do much to it but I ran the shadow and highlight on it to bring out the blacksplash.

First of all, I love the clarity of this photo, and how the water looks crystal-like and has a purplish tone. Great job with your shutter speed! Also, I like how you made the first stream in-focus and the other ones out-of-focus with depth of field. However, I’m not a fan of the shadows made by the fountain. But overall, this is quite a nice shot.

I like the angle of this picture. The other thing that I like about this picture is how at the bottom of the building you can see the reflection of the clouds. I think it would be a little better if you moved so the light wasn’t in it.

I love this picture! I really like how you captured the water frozen in the air. It is not blurred at all and is completely clear, making it even more interesting. Where was this taken?
